Most of this month, Devil Pig Gaming is running a 50% sale on a lot of their merchandise. So, I picked up quite a bit of stuff for Heroes of Normandie and Shadows over Normandie. All of it came in on Monday and I’ve been a little overwhelmed trying to organize it all, which has been going on all week and will hopefully be done tonight.
Speaking of organizing, one of the main reasons for placing an order with Devil Pig was to get their Organization Storage System. I’ve tried various other methods for organizing Heroes of Normandie, but none of them have been very satisfactory. I’m about 80% done with organizing everything in this system and so far, I believe it’s going to be great and much, much better than anything else I’ve tried. I’ve filmed an unboxing video that I’ll edit and post soon showing the system. Also, after I’ve had a chance to use the system for awhile, I’ll post a review video.
In addition to the Storage System, I rounded out my Heroes of Normandie and Shadows over Normandie collection with all the bits and pieces that I didn’t already own. I now have most everything, but there are a few things that I don’t have, especially the Kickstarter exclusive items (since I didn’t back either on Kickstarter). I also have an unboxing video ready to edit for this additional stuff as well (man, my editing backlog is getting long).
I have another multiplayer session coming up this weekend, but haven’t decided what to take yet. If I have the time, I’d like to pull something off the shelf (maybe Thunder Alley, Conquest of Paradise, or Time of Crisis) that I haven’t played yet and learn it for tomorrow. I’m slowly but surely working my way through the unplayed games on my shelf.
Well, soon it will be back to organizing Heroes of Normandie – hopefully the last bit will be placed in it’s spot before bed time tonight.
